RALEIGH—RPD Lieutenant Matthew Kohr announced Monday that because of his suing Starbucks for $750,000 after spilling a cup of free coffee – that is, coffee at no cost – in his lap, he’s “a sure bet” for Indy Weekly‘s 2015 Ingrate of the Year Award.
“My only real competition is an elderly gentleman who flipped off a church group that came over to mow his lawn,” said Kohr. “I’m pretty sure I topped him.”
Kohr is also an odds-on favorite for taking this year’s Medical Idiocy Prize for drinking coffee while having Crohn’s disease.
