Coach Doeren “Super Disappointed” Not to be Playing WVU Right Now

RALEIGH – N.C. State head football coach Dave Doeren announced at a press conference today that he was “really bummed” and “super disappointed” not to be playing #14 West Virginia today in a game that was cancelled due to the arrival of Hurricane Florence in North Carolina.

“That would’ve been a good game. A really good game,” said Doeren. “I couldn’t wait to see what my guys would do against a team that’s first in the Big 12.” Doeren then visibly rolled his eyes.

West Virginia, which absolutely stomped the living crap out of Tennessee 40-14 (#3, SEC-East) on September 1, said it also was disappointed. When WVU tried to reschedule, the phone conversation was repeatedly disconnected. “Must be from the storm,” said Doeren. “We’ll get back to them.”
